Ingebret and Aslak were brothers, so let’s start with their parents.

Halvor Bærulfsen was born in 1794 on the small place Sletten under Moe i Gjerpen parish. He was baptized Apr 14th 1794 in Gjerpen Church. His parents were Beruld Haagensen u/Moe (born 1759 – father: Haagen Haagensen) and Elen Mortensdatter Nordre Mæla (born ca 1760). They were married in Gjerpen Dec 29th 1787.
Halvor married Kari Nielsdatter, b. ca 1788 by parents Niels Engelbretsen from Gaashølen (born 1748 – father: Niels Fieldet) and Maren Haagensdatter (born 1751 – father: Haagen Haagensen). They were married Dec 28th 1881.
Maren Haagensen and Beruld Haagensen were brother and sister.

I have not found Halvor and Kari married, but the first child I have found was born in 1817.
Halvor and Kari had the following children:
1. Niels – b. Apr 3, 1817 – u/Moe
2. Inger Marie – b. Aug 19, 1818 – Gaashølen u/Aas. Dead Apr 2, 1822.
3. Jens – b. Oct 14, 1820 – Aas-eje
4. Maren – b. Oct 14, 1820 – Aas eje

5. Inger Marie – b. Aug 5, 1823 – Gaashølen u/Aas. Dead Nov 10, 1824.
6. Ingebret (Engelbret) – b. Sep 3, 1825 – Gaashølen
7. Aslak – b. Dec 21, 1827 – Gaashølen
8. Peder – b. Mar 29, 1830 – Gaashølen.

I don’t know what happened to these two brothers in the USA.
