Hans Larsen Bøe (Hans Larson Boe): Born March 2, 1816 on a place called Geitebua under the farm Bøe in Gjerpen by parents Lars Hansen and Ellen Engebretsdatter. He was baptized March 17th.
He married Maren Christophersdatter sometime before 1844. I have not found their marriage. She was the daughter of Christopher Jensen and Maren Ingebretsdatter.
She was born March 24, 1814, and in 1835 we find her living with her parents on the place Grønsten(C) under Bøe Nordre.

Hans and Maren had the following children:

1. Maren Elise, born Sept 25, 1844. Died in childhood.
2. Maren Elise, born Aug 16, 1848. She was living in 1872.
3. Anna Kirstine, born Oct 10, 1850. She was living in 1880.
4. Lars, born May 26, 1855. She was living in 1885.

In 1845 the couple was living on Børønningen under Mellom Bøe.

Hans died November 10, 1880, and Maren died April 27, 1908, both in Ashippun township.
