NIELS CHRISTOPHERSEN BØE

Niels Christophersen Bøe:   Born April 24, 1817 on Grumstul under Bøe in Gjerpen. He was baptized May 4th. His parents were Christopher Nielsen Grumstul and Hedevig Ingebretsdatter.

In 1845 we find the family on Gromstulen (Grumstul):
Niels Christophersen, Miner, married, age 29
Magnild Hansdatter, married, age 25
Christopher, son, age 5
Maren, daughter, age 1/2
Maren Jensdatter, servant maid, unmarried, age 23

Niels married Magnild Hansdatter in Gjerpen on Febr 14, 1839. She was the daughter of Hans Halvorsen Bøe and Dorthe Marie Olsdatter, and was born August 28, 1819 on Bøe.

They had the following children:

1. Christopher, born July 4, 1840 on Grumstulen u/Bøe
2. Maren Dorthea, born May 9, 1845
3. Hanna, born 1848
4. Lars, born Nov 22, 1851
5. Niels, born Sept 11, 1855

I don't know when Niels died, but his wife died June 14, 1860, at the age of 41, and is buried at Stone Bank Cemetery.
