Niels Nielsen Aamodt: He was baptized in Gjerpen Norway, living at Åmot July 3rd, 1803 by parents Niels Sigurdsen b. 1774 at Åmot and Anne Maria Nielsdatter from Ø. Sokka b. 1776.
He was married Sept. 1st. 1825 to Sara Nielsdatter, b. April 29, 1804 at Søndre Grini by parents Niels Sørensen at S. Grini(7),
b. 1778 and Ingeborg Margrethe Larsdatter from V. Porsgrunn, Telemark, b. 1765.

They had the following children:
Ingeborg Kirstine, born Jan 27, 1826, married Febr 12, 1847 to Jacob Isaksen.
Serine, born Febr 28, 1829, married Nov 13, 1854 to Simon Nielsen Løberg (emigrated 1849). She died Jan 15, 1916.
Niels, born Sept 3, 1835, married Ingeborg b. ca 1837., Living in 1870.
Anne Maria, born Nov 13, 1838
Simon, born June 15, 1842. Living 1870
Sara, born Dec 2, 1846 in America
Elise, born in America

When Niels Nielsen came to America he worked as a blacksmith in Scandinavia, Wisconsin.
He died Oct 31, 1873 and was buried at Scandinavia Luth. Cem.
His wife Sara was still living in 1880.
