Marthe Marie Halvorsdatter Fossum:  She was born Dec 27, 1820 on a place under the farm Fossum in Gjerpen parish. Her parentswere Halvor Christiansen Fossum and Maria Sigvardsdatter. She married Hans Steensen Fossen from Eker (emigrated 1843). Hans was the son of Steen Mikelsen Fossen and Kirsti Nielsdatter and born in Eker parish, Buskerud Aug 12, 1819.They had the following children:	Maren Elise                     b. 1848	Steen                                b. 1851                          died 1923	Andrew                            b. 1852 (?)
