Rasmus Jensen Furuvald:  He was born 1797 on the farm Furuvald in Gjerpen. He was baptised Nov 26th,and parents were Jens Rasmussen Rorevald and Ingebor Christensdatter, who had married Oct 6, 1796. Rasmus married Nov 19, 1826 Maren Hansdatterfrom the farm Søndre Aas. She was born 1804 by parents Hans Halvorsen S. Aas and Karen Nielsdatter Forevald (married Jan 10, 1802)and she was baptised March 4th. They had the following children:	Ingeborg                b. Sept 12, 1827 Folevall           She was not married, and died 1890.	         	Hans                       b. July 6, 1829 Forevald            He married Apr 19, 1857 Maren Karine Pedersdatter.  He died July 3, 1902	     	Margrethe              b. Febr 29, 1832  Faarevald      She married Petter Peterson, and she died 1894. 	Jens                         b. Oct 12, 1834 Furuvold          He died March 30, 1897.	Niels                        b. Aug 1, 1837 Furuvald          He married Caroline Johnsen, and he died April 20, 1908	    Rasmus died Febr 3, 1883 and is buried at St. Olaf Luth. Cemetery in Dodge Co.

Daughter Margrethe b. Febr. 29, 1832 Faarevald She married Petter Peterson Aas (he was called locally Peter Mack), and she died 1894. She is buried at St. Paul’s Cemetery. Believe they had three daughters who all married Connells from the Menomonee Falls area. They were Maria Bertha, Caroline, & Rachel. Mrs. George Fryda & Mrs. Dr. Robert Boyle were two of their children. George Fryda was a very successful farmer in or near the Town of Lisbon near Lake Five. Boyle was a doctor in Milwauki.(1)
